Site Manager Lydd - UK

PAL Aerospace is currently seeking qualified applicants for Site Manager Lydd - UK.

Requirements for the Project (station set-up) phase

Project management skills;

“Boots on the ground” with local connections and preferably CAA-UK connections;

Preferred Experience with setting up line stations

Prerequisites

Having CAA-UK Part 66 license or having a Degree of a University of Applied Science;

At least 5 years' experience in an Aircraft MX or Aircraft Component MX company of which at least 3 years in a CAA-UK Part 145 approved company.

Strong organizer who maintains focus under operational pressure never losing sight on the safety and quality aspect.

Strong team player and motivator to manage the local team and who is really part of the middle management in the organization

Excellent communicator who speaks and presents effectively in individual or group situations.

Highly proficient spoken and written in English language.

Tasks

Managing the whole team involved with the Part 145 activities;

Managing work and team to meet customer expectations where related to On-Time-Delivery;

Ensure that facilities permanently meet the set requirements;

Ensure correct Work Order content:

Men,

Machine,

Methods,

Materials.

Ensure work is carried out according to work-order, MOE and requirements;

Have contacts with customer (PAL UK Aerospace Flight Operations), personnel and other PAE Site-manager(s);

Support with actions to correct of findings reported by the quality department or external auditors within the prescribed period;

Reporting and correcting unsafe situations, incidents and accidents - using the internal Safety Management System (Sharepoint)

The Site Manager is accountable to the Maintenance Manager.
