PAL Aerospace Europe supports several special mission aircraft and is currently seeking qualified applicants for Dutch Coastguard (Kustwacht) Dash 8 pilot positions in the Netherlands, Schiphol.
PAL Aerospace Europe operates and maintains two Dash 8 aircraft for the Dutch Coast Guard. One aircraft is on standby 24 hours a day for deployment by the Coast Guard Centre. The other aircraft is on standby or can be deployed for international obligations of the Dutch Coast Guard. The aircraft are used for search and rescue, environmental monitoring, border control, vessel traffic control and fishery inspection.
We're looking for qualified Captains and First Officers to join our world-class team operating surveillance aircraft. Our crews are constantly on standby to operate in The Netherlands and elsewhere in the world.
Flying as crewmember aboard our DHC-8 special-mission aircraft, individuals must be able to work in a team environment, as well as part of our motivated, close-knit, group of professionals to deliver mission outputs required by our military, government, and civilian clients.

Qualifications First Officer Non-Type Rated:
CPL or ATPL
Valid EASA Class I Medical Certificate
Current IR-ME
500 hours Total Time
150 hours ME
A-UPRT
MCC Course
Must be able to obtain required security clearances
Must be EU citizen (Security Clearance – background check only available for EU citizens)
Must be willing to participate in international rotations as required
Military / Special Missions experience considered an asset
LPE 6
Qualifications Captain Non-Type Rated:
ATPL
Valid EASA Class I Medical Certificate
Current IR-ME
2500 hours Total Time
500 hours PIC on Dash 8 or similar (multi-pilot) aircraft
Must be able to obtain required security clearances
EU Citizen (Security Clearance – background check only available for EU citizens)
Must be willing to participate in international rotations as required
Military / Special Missions experience considered an asset
LPE 6
Physical Working Environment:
Able to fly during 7–8-hour missions.
Travel with the aircraft on a rotational basis for extended rotations domestically and internationally; sometimes at short notice; operating in all weather, seasons, and terrain.
Accommodation ranges from hotel accommodation to crew-house environments.
Work 24-hour standby periods, including weekends and holidays
Able to meet medical testing requirements.
Able to swim and complete Sea Survival and Underwater Egress Training.
